Recommended Hiking Trails Near Seoul for Foreign Tourists

Here are some hiking trails in and around Seoul that foreign tourists can enjoy. These trails are easily accessible via public transportation and cater to a range of skill levels, from beginners to experienced hikers.

 

1. Bukhansan National Park

Difficulty: Moderate

Highlights: Located close to central Seoul, this park offers various trails for all skill levels. The view from Baegundae Peak provides a stunning panoramic view of Seoul.

Transportation: Take Subway Line 3 to Gupabal Station or Bulgwang Station, then transfer to a bus to the park entrance.

2. Inwangsan

Difficulty: Easy

Highlights: Located in the heart of Seoul, this short and easy hike offers breathtaking views of Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Blue House from the summit.

Transportation: Walk from Dongnimmun Station on Subway Line 3.

3. Namsan Seoul Tower Trail
